In my oil paintings, I combine realism and abstraction through a careful use of texture, layering, and contrast. I focus on creating depth by building up multiple layers of paint, allowing each layer to interact and evolve. The play of light and shadow is crucial in shaping form, while the rich, textured surfaces invite closer inspection. I experiment with color dynamics to emphasize certain elements and create a sense of movement within the composition.
